This is an advisory message from Alameda County. The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning (RFW) for the East Bay hills and interior valleys. The RFW is valid 11:00 AM Sunday thru 5:00 AM Tuesday. Additionally, PG&E has issued a Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS)warning due to the forecast gusty winds and dry conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk, and potential equipment damages. PG&E announced that widespread portions of Alameda County will be im...pacted by these power shutoffs, projected to begin Sunday around 8:00 PM. The weather event is anticipated to last into Monday morning, and PG&E hopes to complete the process of power restoration by 10:00 PM Monday. Alameda County residents in the affected areas who have access and functional needs should consider relocating to the homes of friends, family, or to hotels before high winds are forecasted to begin at 8:00 PM Sunday. From Alameda County. The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning (RFW), for the East Bay hills and interior valleys. The RFW is valid beginning at 8:00 PM tonight (Wednesday, 10/21) and remains in effect until 8:00 AM on Friday, 10/23. Additionally, PG&E has advised of potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) impacting residents in rural areas of unincorporated Alameda County. The power shutoffs are projected to begin after midnight tonight, with restoration of power expected to begin later on Thursday morning.
