Worth The Drive - by Ronald C. I lived in Santa Barbara for quite a few years, and over that time, Dr. Da Re put in several gold crowns for me. Since that time, I moved away, had different jobs, different insurance, and different dentists. 3 of the 4 dentists that I have seen, commented on the excellent gold work and wanted to know who did it. I've been going here for longer than I can remember, have had everything from cleanings to root canals, and have never, ever, had a less than awesome experience. I mean, within the context of dentist visits. In all seriousness, both Drs Da Re and Mjelde have always provided a pleasant and pain-free experience, the techs have been just as good, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I know this may seem waxing a tad eloquent over a dentist's office, but the people here have never failed to turn an experience typically fraught with trepidation and discomfort into a genuinely (given what it is) pleasant experience. I have trusted Dr. DaRe and Dr. Mjelde... - by Carri S. I have trusted Dr. DaRe and Dr. Mjelde with my dental care for almost 30 years. The care I have received by the doctors and their staff has been exemplary. I know many people do not enjoy their visits to the dentist, but I regularly look forward to my check-ups. My hygienists have all been skilled professionals who are also welcoming. When I have had problems or questions, the office has been quick to help. They are also proactive in my dental care and have given me advice that has held off cavities and kept my gums healthy. The entire staff clearly cares so much about excellent overall health and oral health. They've taken lots of new precautions to safeguard the patients (air purifiers in rooms, taking temperatures, etc). The hygienists are very through--doing oral cancer checks, measuring around the gums and very detailed cleanings. I highly recommend this dental office.
