These young men, and their loving families, who volunteered to serve our Country and protect our Freedom will always remain in our hearts and prayers.

It is with a heavy heart that we learn of the passing of retired Sheriff Sandra Hutchens. I am thankful for her active participation in the Laguna Niguel Junior Civic Workshop; she attended each year (and more) to connect and talk with the youth of our community. She was greatly supportive when I met with her to present the "Take Me Home" program for our Senior and Special Needs residents, and helped lay the groundwork to bring this to OC. She was a true partner in working towards the best in our community's safety. God Bless Sandra Hutchens! Sleep softly with the angels as you rest in peace.

Happy Flag Day, Laguna Niguel!

The freedom in which we live our lives was, and is, made possible by those who serve to protect and defend our Country. Freedom is not free and some who served made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. Today we honor and remember those who died while serving our Country. To the Gold Star Families that they leave behind, words are not adequate to express our deepest respect and gratitude. Thank you and God Bless.
