Akashic Visions Gallery

We are having another opening at Akashic Visions Gallery tonight in Nevada City from 6 to 10 pm. Tonight is the First of many First Friday events that will be held at the space to Celebrate the arts and culture of our beautiful community. For the next 2 Months We Will be showing the work of Miles Toland and Leif Wold. Both are really prolific in the amount of beautiful work they produce while still staying true to their roots. Miles Toland's Style emerged from his beginnings ...in the Graffiti culture of Santa Fe, New Mexico. His style merges naturalistic human forms with transcendental designs structured by mandalas and geometric patterns. Leif Wold is deeply inspired by the street art movements springing up everywhere around him. His travels and studies in the artistic traditions and heirlooms of our Earth's people have served as the primary inspiration for his work. Leif's work seeks to recapture the great mystery so elaborately revered by our predecessors. Both of these amazing artist will be joining us for tonights event so come down and speak with them to hear more about their creative process and why they do what they do. See more
