Fresno Unified School District just now voted 6-1 to change the Fresno High School Mascot Warrior logo image! The issue to change the historic 132 year old HS mascot began with a petition in June and then later the Valley Natives for Change was formed and presented their concern before the FUSD, and the rest is history! Congratulations! Fresno organizers! We are Not Your Indian’ Anymore! Hear more about this on Friday night on KPFA’s La Onda Bajita from 8-10 pm and a segment of Across Indian Land with your host Tony Gonzales!
