This is Monday's online class. We go into Sadaharu Oh's swing, Steph Curry's release, and Tojima sensei's sword cut. We explore athletic archetypal champions and the similarities in their craft to Tojima sensei's suburi cut, especially the closing motion. And let us all observe a moment of silence on behalf of Cliff Winnig, whose Mother just passed on. https://youtu.be/VCusEENpxVY

Here is Mondays online class. We go into more of standing on the floating bridge of heaven. Also a detailed check down of the suburi cut. And how bokken work can be combined with some sitting meditation. I am wearing my Nemuri shirt given to me by Harry Concepcion sensei after the Sleepy Eyes of Death movies. When I was in Shingu Hikitsuchi sensei gave me the nickname 'Nemurijack''. https://youtu.be/rpZHmB_ba-c
