Friends, On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, Aikido Institute will once again be participating in Facebook’s annual #GivingTuesday challenge, in which they will match donations received through Facebook for a limited time (ie, until their pledge of $7 million in matching funds is met, probably on that same day). Last year we were able to earn some of those matching funds thanks to those who made donations first thing in the morning that day --the donations are matched on a first-...come-first-served basis and usually run out quickly that same day! Facebook will start matching donations at 8:00am ET (5:00am PT) on Tuesday, 12/01/2020. In these trying times, the continued generosity of our community helps us keep moving forward. In that light we would be grateful if you would consider making a donation to the dojo on the morning of 12/1 to try to meet this challenge opportunity. Of course, if that is not possible we are happy to receive donations at any other time as well!
