If you unsuccessfully tried to access our website ahshilltopnews.com to review our posts to save any photos you might want, the domain has been reconnected and now works. It will expire in October. There are photos going back many years so you may want to give it a look in addition to scrolling back through our Facebook posts to download photos you may want before I shut down the site in about a month. Enjoy!

I am sad to report that Hilltop News will not be produced for the 2020/2021 school year. That will also result in the elimination of our website ahshilltopnews.com and social media pages, so I would encourage all of you who have supported our staff of student journalists over the years to save any photos you may want or may want to share from this Facebook page or the website before I take those platforms down. It has been my great privilege and pleasure to be the faculty adv...isor for Hilltop News for the past 24 years. Our unique school/business partnership with Atascadero News for many decades has given student journalists a unique opportunity to publish their work and have it become part of the official public record of our city. Many of my former students have gone on to work in the journalism profession, and I couldn't be more proud of them. Producing Hilltop News is a lot of work, but having the opportunity to shine a light on all of the wonderful students and staff at Atascadero High School has been very fulfilling; it is a unique and exceptional place.
