I don’t know if anyone else would even find this interesting, but I’ve been playing around with editing celebrities of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s into what they’d... perhaps look like if they were young celebrities in 2021 with modern makeup, hairstyling, and filters. Edit: I see these upset some people- it’s just meant to be fun! I didn’t make these as a makeover, just was curious how modern spins (hair extensions, the smoky eye and pale lip combo, and airbrushing) would look on vintage beauties! It isn’t a statement on modern hair, makeup, injectables, lighting, and so forth being better than the original. Simply my interpretation of how Hollywood standards of beauty have changed over time. Edit 2: For those asking, I actually do not have great photoshop skills. I used a combination of user-friendly phone apps that do most of the editing for you. FaceApp, FaceTune, and Perfect365 are the names of the apps. FaceApp, which has settings to enlarge lips, sharpen jawlines, shrink noses, lengthen hair, and contour is actually commonly used by young celebrities today. Lots of interesting conversations being had in comments about the effect of these apps on what modern society deems beautiful!

Another small tattoo on the same person that has been completely covered with color correction. It cancelled out all darkness from the blue, green, grey, and black tones.
