Have you gotten something special for Mother's day? This mother brought in a broken glass frame, but the photo had glued itself to the glass, so we couldn't remove it. Instead, we decided to treat it like an object, and evoke a #kintsugi spirit by filling in the missing M but otherwise embracing the broken nature of the original frame. Framing #handmade papers is a fun challenge! Placed a cream rag mat behind the piece so the dark mat wouldn't muddy the paper color, and then floated the image so you could see the irregular #decklededge. And finished it off with a stucco textured frame to mimic the heavy rock textures.
