Grace is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and has an MA from the University for the Creative Arts in Rochester, Englan...d. She has experience in product and real estate photography, and having worked as a photographer on a British cruise ship she is well-travelled, adaptable, and resourceful. Originally from southeastern Connecticut, Grace chose to move back to her college town for it’s southern charm, rich culture, and cuisine. Here is more about Jason: Jason attended and graduated with a B.S. in Television Production from Illinois State University, with a semester abroad at the Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts and after graduation moved to Portland Oregon, where he has resided for 6 years. Before working at aftertec he was an administrator for the Long Term Rentals team at Vacasa, but through his career journey he has worn many hats including news camera operator and editor, cab driver, pharmacy technician, and social media contributor. He will be working as an Administrative Media Coordinator for aftertec. When not at work, he enjoys playing board games, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, and finding new podcasts to listen to. First of all we wish that you and your family are safe and well during this crazy time. As a small business we understand the challenges first hand that business owners are facing in this entirely unpredictable environment. We wish to remain optimistic and think that in some small way our company can help businesses, Realtors, Vacation Rental owners, and Property Managers and many other industries to leverage our services. In the past three weeks we have watched, even on na...tional news reporting, that people are resorting to virtual tours - however what they are using to create virtual tours are actually not even close to virtual at all. Some are using iphone videos and even photo galleries and calling them virtual tours. The word 'Virtual' is defined as "not physically existing as such but made by software to appear to do so". The definition of Tour is "a journey for pleasure in which several different places are visited". Photo galleries and iphone videos do not fit that definition and some of the homemade iphone videos we have watched were not even close to a 'journey for pleasure'. The major missing piece in the latter is power of navigation and the ability to freely go where you want to go and to see what you want to see in high definition. It is not a virtual tour when you when you walk through a space and cannot feel yourself there. In fact its our opinion it does just the opposite giving the viewer the feeling that they cannot associate themselves with the space. You want your visual asset to produce a connection with your audience that would ultimately lead them closer to making a decision (Is this something I am interested in buying?, renting?, leasing? purchasing a product?). The real-life like immersive experience that 3D Virtual Tours create are ones that give the viewer a positive experiencing and in some way when finishing the tour leaves them with a lasting impression that is memorable. Many are quickly adopting and embracing this technology and some are being left behind. A few national brokerages announce on cable news this week that they are deciding to use Matterport 3D tours on all their properties, during this crazy time, to help home buyers shop for properties online. Today aftertec advanced imaging has launched a new site called www.Order3DNow.com . It will be part of a new national campaign to not only bring our services to people nationally but to also continue to educate people in business the power of 3D Virtual Tours.
