Today is National Author's Day! Our founder and CEO, Dwayne Clark is the author of several books including, 30 Summers More, which focuses on how to age well and live life to the fullest. We’ve been keeping our communities busy with fun activities that spark happiness. This week at Aegis Living of Ventura, our amazing staff organized a drive-thru vintage car show! Featuring cars from almost every decade, residents lined the sidewalks outside our building to watch all the cars parade down the street. At our Corte Madera community, we've partnered with the Marin Library who have gifted us with several creative activity kits for our memory care residents. Volunteers assembled books, classic music albums, crafts, trivia and flash cards that are specialized for all levels of dementia.
