A little good news as we experience the pandemic! In 2002 the World Health Organization (WHO) released Framework on Active Ageing policy paper. Over the past two decades the report became the groundwork for an eventual partnership with AARP. The effort is known as the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities. The goal is to create livable communities for people of all ages and especially older adults. The good news? The County of San Diego is a member of the network and has developed this transportation guide for San Diegans. The guide is available as a printable PDF and if you want a copy please message us.
