Similar situation happened to my in-law 11 days ago. Both cars were backing up of parking space opposite of each other and scratched each other car. Since my father in-law didn’t speak English the other driver told him to leave and didn’t exchange information. In the mail an insurance claim was filed as a hit-and-run. We’re furious because we had purchased a new dashcam with Front and Rear recording because of previous Rear Hit-and-run happened to father-in-law that prompte...d us to purchase a new front/rear dashcam system. (64gb records about 4 days in 1080p) (128gb records about 8 days at 1080p) Even though security dashcam was in place, so please talk to your elders about the importance of reporting any trouble to a loved one because sometime elders don’t want to hassle you, but its severity is much more if left unknown. His situation happened 11 days ago so recording are overlapped and erased with new recordings. My in-law is 70 years old, couldn’t communicate in English. Also it might be his fault but didn’t want to tell anyone. Talk to elderly parents about notifying anyone to prevent any fraud.
