Just concluded a signing appointment with a therapist who works with homeless veterans, which--sadly--still include Vietnam War vets. She said that San Francisco is leading the nation in assisting homeless veterans, and that the City is on-target to have all veterans placed by the end of the year. This not only includes housing, but also residential treatment for addiction and psychiatric care. Very proud of our city.
