As a massage therapist, I am constantly updating my techniques and searching for tools that alleviate pain, relieve muscle tension and provide lasting results in the most effective way. Cupping, promotes blood circulation, speeds up muscle recovery. Begins the healing and regeneration process - the exchange of blood allows the removal of cell debris. Cupping is safe and effective. Yay! I am so excited to spend the weekend providing bodywork for this group! Tennis, like all competitive sports, places uneven demands your body. Certain muscle groups are overworked while others are neglected. Regular bodywork that addresses imbalances will increase longevity of your joints and can help to prevent injuries. I’ll be doing private sessions this time around so if you didn’t get a session at the spring open nows your chance! I’ll be doing deep tissue massage and Fascial Stretch Therapy(FST). Long term results require a healthy lifestyle and therapy focused on correcting imbalances in the body that happen over time with age or injury. This therapy should include stretching and strengthening joints, muscles and connective tissue. Cortisone injections are temporary and can have harmful effects on your tissue.
