4 year old bloodhound Penny was raised as a beloved indoor companion with little kids and is now fostered, looking for her new forever home. She’s so good natur...ed, loves everyone and her tail wags nonstop. House trained, crate trained, loves to cuddle and play with other dogs. She also bays loudly when playing and when she wants something, typical of the breed, and his foster humans are working on teaching her quiet. Today is the 10 year anniversary of Adobe Animal Hospital! It's hard to believe how fast time has gone since I purchased "Adobe Family Pet Clinic" from Dr. Visco in September 2011. We've come a long way together from our little cottage on East Washington. I'm so grateful to our wonderful clients, so many of whom have been with us the whole way. It’s National Pet Dental Health Month and we are drilling for joy! We had the pleasure of treating miss Aurora who came to us with a fractured canine tooth. Outlined in yellow is what the tooth is supposed to look like and it really exemplifies how much of her tooth is actually missing. On top of it all, her root is exposed and the tooth has started to brown. Ouch! Thankfully, Dr. Dekleva and our RVT Kristin were able to extract her tooth, and with the help of a postsurg...ical rub-down, Aurora is feeling much better.
