I read somewhere. . . From the book, Becoming Animal by David Abram (I think???), . . .It’s the waterfall, and the forest, and the mountain that heal. That quote impacted me, cuz I realized there was a truth in it for me. . . that it’s the presence, or consciousness, or Spirit inherent in Nature that does any and all healing. And WE ARE fundamentally THAT NATURE TOO. I realized that I could embody that consciousness as I do Acupuncture; . . .at least I could attempt to! W...hy not?! So I used to visualize a waterfall, or a forest, or a mountain as I would do my Acupuncture. I had forgotten about that, cuz at some point I could just drop into that consciousness without the visualization part - unnecessary step - too much work ;^) I had forgotten about all this, as it has just become part of what I do. I had forgotten until I came across the following that is (see below). Nice to look back on the journey. . . The following struck me as so relevant, a beautiful balm to the current strife in our public discourse, and perennial wisdom as to how we might get back on track toward sanity and healing. . . From an article in the January/February 2019 edition of the magazine, Spirituality and Health - The Soul-Body Connection. pp. 40-44, Stephen Blackmer writes, My job as priest is to hold a sacred space where people can see what is already there. In making these humble woods a church, we reclaim the ancient human experience of land as sacred, as a bearer of divine presence. Our materialistic, secular, consumer (driven) world hardly even knows the word, sacred. Is it any wonder we are so lost (disconnected), or that we wreck the glorious, mysterious, beautiful world of nature around us? When we see the land as sacred, we care for it. When we see ours selves in living relationship with trees and creatures and water, we care for those (things). When we see other people as children of God, we care for them. When we experience ourselves as God’s beloved, we are healed (as in. . . foster healing). ~Stephen Blackmer is founder and priest of Church of the Woods, in Canterbury, NH. A lifelong New Englander, he is happiest when he is in the woods, on a river, or up a mountain. (Parenthetical remarks are mine ;^) Enjoy! Happy Healing! And Lots o Love in 2019!

As the fires rage on the outside in our region, there are personal fires that rage in the form of symptoms in our bodies, healing crises; as if to demand that we surrender our conditioned ways, and open to our wholeness. I'm grateful I get to be the one to invite that opening. . . The following is a follow up email to a client I saw today experiencing (in my opinion) an intense healing crisis demanding change. . . "Hi Dear One, The idea here is, "to begin with the end in mind...". The end game here is FREEDOM. So each step is embude w/ the IN-tension of freeing ourselves from our conditioned modes so we can live more spontaneous and authentic lives. Our wholeness is seemless between our inner-being and our outer-being, there really is no real separation, only perceived separation. We get to be an individual operating from an, "unconditioned space". And to embody the, "unconditioned space", we need to put our attention on it regularly to build our connection with it. It's really cultivating Love for that aspect of our being. Most of us never cultivate that kind of connection, cuz the unconditioned space SEEMS like nothing, and therefore (our logical, survival brain tells us) UN-important. The starting place is the breath. Approach being with your breath like you would observe a wild animal you Love in the forest that you've come upon, and find it sleeping. Observe your breathing mechanism with that kind of interest, sincerity, curiosity, and willingness to be present. This practice is building the capacity to meditate which will become spontaneous later on as our willingness and curiosity grow. Heartfully. . . Bill "Qi is not a thing. . . It flowers out of our love-affair with life."

Dear Ones, Here it is as promised. . . If you expose yourself to this Qi Gong Exercise and end up liking it, then you'll want to practice it regularly. I've experienced for myself that regular practice of this exercise is one of the most potent resources I have along my own healing journey. I'm so thankful for the work of Daoist Healing Arts, and Master Jeffrey Yuen for providing this resource to the world free of charge. I wish you Health and Happiness. . . Enjoy! http://auburnacupuncture.net/huff-puff-qi-gong-videos/

Super excited. . . I submitted my proposal today for funding to continue my work in a larger capacity, and reach more people who are interested in Transformational Healing! Currently we have a Disease and Symptom Management System that we call, "Healthcare". Don't get me wrong we need highly technological and expensive medicine. AND we have a long way to go as a society to understand the difference between managing symptoms that are distressing (even potentially fatal symptom...s ;^), vs. how we understand what symptoms mean FROM OUR BODY'S PERSPECTIVE! I know. I said it. Our body's have a, "perspective". Yup. It's true, they do. Some things we just gotta accept and make use of their wisdom. We can't prove everything with a randomized, double-blinded, placebo controlled study. At least not as it pertains to an, "inspirited" being, a being that is dynamic, responsive, and animated by a mysterious capacity to be conscious, aware, mentate, emote, and socialize. We can't, "control" all the variables in one of those suckers! . . .And to pretend we can do so is hubris at best, and at worst. . . Well, we're possibly talking about willful denial in the name of hard-core PROFIT! Oh well. . . "Science simply can't deal with the fact that we're conscious, and it can't deal with the fact that our thoughts don't seem to be solely localized to our brains" ~ Rupert Sheldrake from TED talk on the, "Science Delusion" 1/12/2013 - https://youtu.be/JKHUaNAxsTg Ciao for Now. Oh, next time. . . Link to a kick A** Qi Gong video I'll be posting on my website, FREE to all, and featuring a Jedi Master! . . .That's right. . . The 88th Generation Daoist Master of my Classical Chinese Medical Healing Lineage, the, "Jade Purity Healing Lineage" - Master Jeffrey Yuen.
