Mood swings and anxiety can be a part of most people's everyday life during stressful times. These can also be worsened by hormonal shifts. There are natural methods to help! You can learn ancient mind/body practices that combine mindfulness, physical movement, and breathing. Then you "own" them and can use them whenever you need. Click the link in the bio to schedule a consultation if you are interested in using East Asian medicine to help stress, anxiety, or menopausal symp...toms. #anxietytreatment #anxietytherapy #anxietyhealing #anxietyreducer #anxietyacupressure #anxietywarriors #anxietyhelper #anxietystruggles #stressreducer #calmingdown #menopauserelief #menopausesupport #menopausesymptoms #menopausehealth #menopausematters #menopausehelp #nightsweats #menopauseqigong #healthyhormones #hormonebalancing #hormonesupport #hotflashrelief #personalclimatechange #qigongpractice #qigonghealing #qigongeveryday #qigongforhealth #qigongtherapy #healingqigong

Hoping you are able to connect in some way to those that nourish your heart. Wishing you a hopeful holiday season.

Happy winter solstice. Here’s to more light.

I hope you are taking time to rest and replenish. Our culture sometimes doesn't value quiet and rest (yin) as much as activity and busyness (yang). Winter is a time of shorter days and longer nights, perfect for resting more and nourishing the yin in our life. What are you doing to refill your cup? #rest #relaxation #yin #taichi #qigong #anxietytreatment #anxietytherapy #anxietyhealing #anxietyreducer #anxietyacupressure #anxietywarriors #anxietyhelper #anxietystruggles #stressreducer #calmingdown #qigonglosangeles #taichiweho #wintersolstice

A reminder that COVID-19 has a 2-14 day incubation period. You are not in the clear until 14 days after your last exposure. You can have a negative test on Monday and still get someone sick on Thanksgiving.

I've been helping people with their health for about 20 years, and I've noticed something fairly common. People often judge their bodies as having failed when they get sick, experience pain, or even age. Our society is increasingly putting a morality value on wellness, as if illness is a sort of moral failure. You got sick? You must have done something wrong. You must not have meditated enough or juiced enough or avoided gluten or done enough yoga/cardio/pilates/bootcamp/cros...sfit, etc. Maybe you thought negative thoughts! Look, all bodies need support from time to time. Getting sick and experiencing pain (and getting older) are all inevitable parts of the human experience. Full stop. You can argue with this reality and suffer a lot. Or, you can practice acceptance that this sometimes happens and your body hasn’t failed or betrayed you. So, if you refrain from judging yourself or your body for needing support, you've eliminated a good deal of your suffering right there. You can just get on with reaching out for the support you need. If you need health or wellness support right now, please click the link in the bio and contact me. I'd love to help. #herbalmedicines #chinesemedicineworks #chineseherbalmedicine #ancientmedicine #acupuncturerocks #acupuncturepoints #acupuncturelife #acupunctureheals #acupuncturetherapy #acupressurepoints #acupressuretherapy #acupressuretreatment #earseeds #taichiquan #taichiclass #taichiforhealth #taiqi #qigongpractice #qigonghealing #qigongeveryday #qigongforhealth #qigongtherapy #healingqigong #postureexercise #postureexercises #posturematters #posturesupport #posturealignment #functionalposture

Chinese medicine is root cause medicine. We want to know why something has happened. If you become ill or unwell, we ask, "What imbalance allowed this condition to arise?" And then we ask, "How can we resolve this imbalance so that health is restored?" We treat individuals and their health patterns rather than treating the symptoms alone. When the body and mind/heart are balanced, there is health and vitality. #herbalmedicines #chinesemedicineworks #chineseherbalmedicine #ancientmedicine #acupuncturerocks #acupuncturepoints #acupuncturelife #acupunctureheals #acupuncturetherapy #acupressurepoints #acupressuretherapy #acupressuretreatment #earseeds #taichiquan #taichiclass #taichiforhealth #taiqi #qigongpractice #qigonghealing #qigongeveryday #qigongforhealth #qigongtherapy #healingqigong

Sometimes the best medicine is a dose of the natural world. Fresh air and sunshine can help our bodies maintain their regular innate rhythms such as sleep cycles. Research also suggests that spending time in nature can help relieve depression, anxiety and can also benefit memory.
