Premiering tonight on Friday Night Frights! Godzilla, The Series. A surprisingly good cartoon series of our favorite monster from the deep, Godzilla. Begins at 7:58pm. The movie is Virus! (fittingly) about a, well, a virus. In 1980 this was the most expensive Japanese movie ever made. Starring; Glenn Ford, Olivia Hussey, Chuck Connors and Robert Vaughan. Begins at 9:23pm.

New on Thursday: Wicked Good Food, The Simple Gourmet, and Colour In Your Life all beginning at 8am. New Out and About starting at 10pm.

Style City Music videos now play every night (except Monday) midnight till 7ish. Eclectic music from Country, Rock, Hard Rock, Rap. Great production values.

July 4, 2021 schedule: Our holiday program begins at 9am with the 2017 Homeland Concert filmed at the Auburn Library Concert Stage, we revert back to Compass Community Church for an hour at 10:54am and resume with our friend Billy Buckman moving song, Three Soldiers at 11:53am, then a series of The Chico and Bman Show beginning at 11:58, followed by Billy again at 2:54pm, the Homeland concert at 3pm and Just Coolin' series at 4:54pm. We close the day with the final performance of the Homeland Concert at 10:05pn till midnight. Have a great day! Be safe, don't use illegal fireworks. Philip Jacques

Of the many, many things I miss since COVID hit the scene is Friday night football. Our producer of these shows, Touchdown Productions, retired a couple of years ago meaning I have nothing of the 2019/2020. But I do have 2017/2018 championship season and thought it might be fun to look back on the football team and the Lady Hillmen Basketball team as well. The day starts early so get plenty of goodies and hot chocolate and enjoy. Here goes: Thursday, 12-24-2020. 6:40AM ...Lady's first, I always say. This is the Lady Hillmen v Foothill Mustangs 8:20AM Hillmen v Bear River 10-27-2017 10:35AM Hillmen v Lincoln 11-3-2017 1:04PM Hillmen v Natomas Nighthawks, 1st round playoff 3:24PM Hillmen v Woodland, 2nd round playoff 5:35PM Lady Hillmen v River Valley 6:59PM Hillmen Marching Band Halftime Show. Can't forget the amazing performances the band gave. 7:11PM Hillmen v Colfax 9-6-2017. Yes, this show is out of sequential order but the reason is this game is when you just knew something special was in the air. The Hillmen pulled off a huge upset victory and, I believe, this win propelled them to the playoffs. Really exciting game. 9;42PM Hillmen v Center for the Section Championship. Spoiler alert, we won. It would be interesting to know where and how these players are doing today. The same is true for all of us. Maybe you were on the field in cleats or on the courts in sneaks. Maybe you were marching in the band or cheering from the stands. Maybe you were serving hot dogs and hamburgers at the concession counter or urging fans to yell louder. Whatever, we were all affected with a wonderful sense of our hometown, our high school spirit. So, gather around with friends and family for this trip back to the halcyon days of our children. Coming in October: I was privileged to film both the League of Women Voters presentation of the California Propositions and the Auburn City Council presentation of Auburn City Council Candidates Forum. These programs will run every day this month and up to election day. All kinds of reasons to vote this year; be prepared and make sure to watch both on the station or at our YouTube page (see below for links). Both programs are scheduled about noonish each day. On Friday, Friday Night Frights day, a return of Cook Like a Champion @ 7:55am, all new Sidewalks Entertainment @ 11:56am, NASA features @ 5:30pm followed by four all new Kamen Rider Black @ 8:42pm, Godzilla @ 10:20pm. On Saturday, a repeat of Friday Sunday: new Oven Luv'n @ 3:15pm followed @ 4:30pm by a collection of Out and About, new MoJazz, and Baby Blue Arts. Monday is government day as usual. A note about Stand Up Placer , since the outbreak of the COVID-19 outbreak many domestic abuse agencies are reporting a surge in such tragedy. We are fortunate in having Stand Up Placer available to us so I am showing these shows everyday except Monday so that you and anyone you might know are aware of their services. Domestic abuse is a horrible situation but not escapable. Check it out, Stand Up and tell someone.
