Hey Families! We are going to play a Trivia Game Night Tonight at 6:30 PM. Feel free to click on the link below and compete against other families. Here is how it will work: 1) We will be hosting the game on the Zoom app, so to best be prepared, download that app! 2) We will also be using the Kahoot! platform to play the game. You can access this using any web browser, but if you have the Kahoot app, it will work a little better. 3) You will want two phones or two internet... devices to play (per family). One device you can connect on Zoom, and the other device you will use to lock in your answer. 4) Families will probably want ALL family members to play. This game is designed for little kids to be involved as much as their parents. 5) If we are allowed, we will buy a pizza party for the winning family and get it delivered to their home! Love you guys! Youth group tonight at 6:30 upstairs! Can’t wait to see you all there!

Last night was so much fun! Thanks to all who showed up to help! So nice to worship together again, and spend time in the presence of awesome community!

Love is a language of its own! It speaks to the heart, and can reach anyone. You don’t have to be a great speaker, or have all the right words, or even know what to say to reach someone’s heart. Today, try loving others first, and instead of giving advice or trying to fix choose to love your friends and family where they are at. This makes all the difference in how you’re able to reach them!

We don’t have to work so hard for the Lord to change us and grow us! All we need to do is commit our hearts to following Him and leaning into a relationship with Him. As new believers, we tend to fall into the trap that says we need to change everything in our lives right away to be good enough for God. This is a lie, and can keep us from experiencing the love and blessings Jesus has for us in our walk. Remember that any change the Lord wants to make in you is a partnership of you saying yes to Him, and the growth comes from building your relationship with Him. If you’re trying too hard to be good enough, remember that you can stop, breathe, and just be with Jesus. Don’t keep yourself from experiencing the intimate moments the Lord has with you by meeting you in your brokenness!

What does trusting in the Lord look like to you? Are you someone who trusts easily, or does it take time for you to build trust in order to give it away? When scripture asks us to trust the Lord and lean on His understating, it can be a difficult task for some based off their life experiences with trust. Understanding your personal experiences with trust can help you deepen your relationship with God as you work to place trust in Him. Remember that your relationship with God is personal, and takes time to develop like any other relationship. Today, spend time with the Lord and ask Him what it means for you to trust Him, and how putting your trust in Him will bring His direction into your life.
