So there is no easy way to reach out to every family, but I have to tell you parents I’m Scared sick for our babies. I learned today of yet another 13 year old that took his own life, this after a 9 year old last week. These among the thousands of others, they just happened to be within 7 degrees of separation. So I’m reaching out to the masses. You think this is hard on us, imagine our children! Mental Health affects everyone!!!! Some in more critical ways than others,... sometimes it’s easily managed and others not so much. Sometimes it’s caused my bullying or previous life situations, others just something within the brain. My point is if we don’t talk to our kids who will. It has to be normalized. One thing my kids will tell you is moms brain is different that is how I’ve explained mental health issues to them since they were small and as they grow we talk about how theirs may be different too as we are all unique and that is nothing to be scared or ashamed of. Take a moment tonight to hug your babies, talk to them, don’t pretend depression or anxiety or anything else doesn’t affect them because they are too young. If they are one of my kids or even if they aren’t hug them and tell them I miss them, that people out there need them. If you are one of my big kids I miss you too, I love you, and have watched each of you overcome obstacles, I see you I’m proud of you and my phone is still always on and door wide open, no questions asked. We’ve got to stop this madness. Love to all! See more

Happy Friday you beautiful humans! I think during the times we are in with the challenges we face it can be a bit easier to find the bad in things. Don’t stop dreaming, find the little things that are good and cherish each one, love one another, and when you can’t do anything else remember to laugh. Life’s too short.
