RAFFLE ANNOUNCEMENT In an effort to raise money for our awesome school while we aren't on campus, we have come up with the idea to raffle off fun baskets each month for the rest of this year! This month we have a "Distance Learning Basket" and boy it is loaded with so many good items! ... Please see the attached flier for all the items included. The items included in this basket are from businesses who generously donated to our Spring Fling fundraiser and we appreciate them supporting our school! Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. If you are interested in buying tickets, please contact Liz Bassey or Tiffani DeTar with how many tickets you would like to purchase and we will give you the payment information. We will be announcing the winner on October 16th! Feel free to send to your family and friends! Good luck and thank you! (Due to collecting these donations last year for Spring Fling and not being able to have the fundraiser, we wanted to let you know the golf/lunch experience expires December 10 and House of Hue expires Feb 2021. Still plenty of time to use them though!)

Thank you volunteers for maintaining the school Garden. It grew a bit out of control between Summer and Fall. Next week Winter veggies will be planted and we will get to enjoy seeing those grow.

(From Liz Bassey) Hey everyone! Save the date for Cody’s 6th Annual Cookie Fill The Boot Fundraiser . All donations will go to the Vacaville City Firefighters Charity Fund. Lots of yummy treats will be available for you to pick up and enjoy. Not only from our own kitchen and those of talented friends, but also from Pure Grain Bakery, Famous Creations and more! And of course our famous Nut Tree Honey Cookies will be there! Join us at the fabulous Sweet Peas Boutique on Oct...ober 10th from 10:00am to 12:00pm to support a great cause and also shop around the boutique for some awesome plants/succulents and more! For those who don’t know, VCFCF helps victims of tragedy and assist underfunded programs in our community. Currently they are doing so much to help those who lost their homes due to the LNU Complex fire. We will be having a gift card/monetary drive for our ACE/Hemlock families affected from the LNU fires Friday August 28th from 4-8pm and Saturday August 29th from 8-11am. This is a drive through event in the ACE/Hemlock drop off zone. No checks please. #acestrong #vacavillestrong

Locals.... Zinger Ranch Missy Ben Zinger is in need of (STRONG) help. In order to manage volunteers, as things are very strict right now, please carefully read the volunteer opportunities and requirements for Sunday, August 23. They need strong men willing to put out fires and rake dry grass. Another thunderstorm is in the forecast and they need to prepare.... They are so grateful for all the offers for help. If tomorrow doesn’t work for you don’t worry! There will be PLENTY of opportunities in the upcoming months. Managing via a sign up is the best way for everyone’s safety. Your love and support is appreciated more than you can imagine

Please keep the families affected by the fires in your thoughts. Our ACE community is full of brave first responders, families who have lost their homes, families with damages, and families evacuated. We will rally around anyone in need. If you have donations please reach out and we will get them to the families in need. We are ACE! Small but mighty. FAMILY.

It's the one day where every door is open - nothing but possibility lies ahead - soak it in, even from the other side of the screen.
