We've kicked off our first week of summer school with incredible presentations from Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) about their Black is Beautiful exhibit, Cathy DeLuca from Community Living Campaign about how to be better pedestrian advocates and create more accessible communities, and Angel Island about the history of immigration on the island. School may be physically closed, but we are continuing to engage with our community and talk and learn about important issues!

Today we celebrated our 2020 grads on Zoom! Despite all of the unexpected changes that have come our way this school year, we have so many wonderful memories to look back on. We are excited to share with you this memory music video made from videos taken throughout the school year!

Had an amazing interactive zoom field trip to the Contemporary Jewish Museum to experience the Levi Strauss Exhibit. Special thanks to Cecile Puretz and Ron for a fantastic "community-based" experience from home! It was an amazing history of jeans and even looking at how one designer made jeans accessible to people with disabilities. And of course, you can't go wrong with a dance party ending!
