Spanish II students created virtual ofrendas for Dia de Muertos // The altar of the dead is a fundamental element of the celebration of the Day of the Dead. In the altars of the dead there are photographs, special objects, fruits, candles, confetti, bread of the dead and other objects. Many families construct these altars in their homes for loved ones. #academyLBHS

STUDENT VOICE: I feel connected to my learning when.... Student-Led conferences are a time for students to take the lead and reflect and share with advisors, teachers, and families about their learning experience. Students write reflection letters to identify what struggles they have faced, and where they have grown. This experience deepens their understanding of their own thinking and learning. ...
