A&S Law Group wishes you and yours a safe and fun-filled 4th of July! PUT YOUR PHONE TO WORK A collision could be quite dramatic, and it is understandable to feel nervous and scared, and forget to take the necessary steps to protect yourself. Sometimes even finding a pen or paper, becomes impossible. ... In the event that you find yourself in this situation, remember, PUT YOUR PHONE TO WORK. 1. CALL THE POLICE Report any injuries and ask for an ambulance if needed. Even if there are no serious injuries, you may still need a police report to file a claim, later. Get the name and badge numbers of the responding officers. Ask if you can take a picture of the officer's name and badge. Ask if you can take a picture of the report or citation page/cover page. If you are injured, or in pain, make sure you tell the officer how you feel. 2. TAKE PICTURES Take pictures of everything: Your car, the other car, the scene, any injuries, street signs, and take a screenshot of your phone to show the time. Take pictures from different angles. Just be safe! Watch out for traffic and any other hazards around you. 3. EXCHANGE INFORMATION Usually the police will get all the necessary information, but you should do that also. Obtain the name, address and telephone number of everyone involved in the accident. Make sure to get the other person’s driver’s license and insurance information. Take a picture of the driver’s license, insurance, and the car registration. 4. WITNESSES Ask everyone what they saw. Get their names and numbers; you can either text yourself that information, or make a note in your cellphone. 5. CALL US Whether you believe the other party was at fault or not, it is important to consult with an attorney who can help you with the aftermath of a collision. At A&S Law Group, we will assist you in dealing with the insurance companies, making sure you are fully, and quickly, compensated for your vehicle, receive the necessary, and the best, medical help, and fight for you to receive the highest compensation you deserve. We work on a contingency fee basis. Leora Sedaghati and Mak Abromson

Sun, BBQ, DrinksSafety! We, at A&S Law Group, want to wish you a Fun, Happy, and Safe Memorial Day weekend! Here are some safe driving tips to ensure your holiday traveling goes smoothly. Wear A Seat Belt:... Make sure you and your passengers are wearing a seat belt. Drivers should also make sure children are safely secured in age and size appropriate child restraint systems, i.e. booster chairs and car seats. Avoid Driving Distracted: Establish and enforce a cell phone distraction-free zone, especially when you are behind the wheel. Remember that texts, emails, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram...can wait! Understand that cars equipped with electronic devices, like GPS, can also be distracting. So program your GPS, or your music station, before your start driving. Allow Plenty Of Travel Time: This will help avoid frustration and diminish the impulse to speed. Practice Defensive Driving: Drive cautiously, especially in bad weather and in road construction areas. Don’t Drink And Drive: Plan ahead of time. Have a designated driver or use Uber, Lyft, or a good old fashion taxi. A&S Law Group Leora Sedaghati Mak Abromson
