Nos apprenant.e.s et nos collègues sont FORMIDABLES!... Students wore masks, chatted by video conferencing, and displayed TRUE creativity during a challenging school year. Even if they don't always turn on their videos in class or connect with us as much as we would like, their dedication to their growth in language and global awareness is evident. The CO/WY chapter of the AATF would like to invite all AATF members and their students to participate in our spring event, The French Advantage, which will take place virtually on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 1:30-4:30pm MDT. This event will feature a keynote by the Higher Education Attaché from the French Consulate in Los Angeles, panel discussions by local professionals who use French in their careers, a panel of study abroad experts to talk about the advantages (and nut...s and bolts) of study abroad, and a panel of students who have participated in a study abroad in France. Cost is minimal, and there are scholarships available for those who teach in Title I/underprivileged schools. Registration for AATF members will begin on Wednesday, February 24.
