I would like to add a P.S. to yesterday’s post. I would like to send a shout out to a few ladies. Connie Scott-Ruiz joined me 2 months after I opened 16 years ago. We were a 2 women show for quite awhile. We have worked side by side creating beautiful wedding hair,have helped a few clients with funerals and everything in between. She is a faithful friend. Amy N Keith Howard (Amy) joined us for a while during the early years. She is an amazing manicurist, now in real estate. ... My sis Kathy Bowlin joined us for many of the years. Her servants heart and ability to help our older clients with less desirable jobs was and continues to be an amazing example to me. We still miss our Linda Haight. She joined us for over a decade. There were many times that I wasn’t sure what was going to come out of her mouth.... we laughed a lot! Darlene joined 4 years ago. She’s our resident cowgirl and fashionista. Then there is Melissa Star Barfield who showed up one day with purple hair and an impressive resume. She has proven an even more impressive work ethic.
