Just around the corner from work. Guy pulls a knife and threatens the old folks.

So, this just happened across the street from work. Just before I arrived for my shift.

Very sad day for law enforcement.

I was less than 200 feet away with an obstructed view. I ran in from the south of this unit which is located near the Saratoga Ave & Telephone Rd intersection. The one victim that got a very small scrape from a shotgun pellet under is neck had chased the suspects east. I immediately secured the crime scene while the entire police dept. searched the area. There were adults on their balcony and children sleeping in this home. Just a moment before this occurred the same two young men threatened a different man that was on his patio. Everyone went home safe but very rattled.
