Food For Thought Matt 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Light Your Light Shine... We all have sang the song, If Your Saved and You Know In the song you have a list of things to do such as clap your hands, stomp your feet, nod your head and the very last this is usually say amen. Or the song, This Little Light of Mine. And again a list of things to do or not to do. Such as hide it under a bushel No! And then of course the last verse let it shine until Jesus comes. We must live our lives in such a way that others see Jesus in our actions and hear Jesus in our words. As a Christian we have a command to share our faith with others. And our actions speak louder than words. Eph 5:15-16 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. In others words, be careful how you live your life, others are watching. Living your life according to the Word of God is not an option it’s a command. As we live our daily lives lets make sure that we let our lights shine. Think About It Pastor Larry

Food for Thought This last week we saw something, the like has not been seen in my lifetime. A large mob stormed the Capitol, the seen was the seen from somewhere else not the USA. But it was the USA.... You see the problem did not just start it has been going on for years. From prayer being removed from the schools to legalizing the execution of the unborn in America and the list goes on and on. It is way past time for God’s children to kneel in prayer and let their hearts be heard by the Greatest Authority, God. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is both a warning and a promise. 2 Chron 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. The Warning! if we do not change the way we view sin it will continue, in our lives. We will continue to live a life outside of God’s Will. Rom 6:1-2 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? KJV How many bought a lottery ticket this last week, how many drank an alcoholic beverage this last week. You see we must see sin for what it is disobedience to God’s Word. I refuse to trust in luck such as the lottery when I have a sure thing, Jesus!!! I refuse to have my senses dulled by things such as alcohol I want to feel the presence of God!!! Let’s get our hearts out of the world. Don’t be a Luke Warm Christian. Josh 24:15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." It is time to make America Great again and this can only be done by Jesus. The Promise! I will heal the land. Food For Thought Rom 8:37-39 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2021 will be a Great Year... So far this has been a Great Year in the Blevins House, because every day with Jesus is a Great Day. Ps 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. The Great Life of the Christian. Because this is the day the Lord has made. Ps 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Because if God be for us who can be against us. Let’s Praise the Name of Jesus instead of complaining about the world.
