Here’s to 2020 - yes it was challenging and very different than we had intended, but I’m forever grateful for the partnerships and time at home with family (especially knowing my teens are growing up so fast and will fly the coop soon)! Forever is composed of NOWS! Our goal in creating our ‘POP UP Micro Nuptials’ was to allow couples to say I DO now! And RIGHT NOW in Marin County, California that looks like these two gorgeous brides sharing champagne with their family via ZOOM. But just because it is a tiny ceremony with just the two of them doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be stunning! We think our team nailed it! When we connected with the brides they had officially cancelled their Septemebr 19th wedding at @ou...tdoorartclub two days before. Right at the same time we were sharing our micro concept with the powers that be at the club and we’re able to paint for them a safe and beautiful way to allow Social Bubble ceremonies to take place! Thankfully we caught these two and we’re able to help them re-envision their union at the venue they had originally selected, just with a twist. What was planned as intimate event just went even smaller and down to just the two of them - as much of their family was spread out all over and they weren’t ready to have folks traveling. They’d already worked with @ampersand_sf to design a look for their florals, and had begun the three month process with @laurensneadweddingofficiant to officiant their wedding after getting to know them through her stellar lead up to marriage process as well as had @studioxiiiphotography in place to capture the day! So I pulled these folks together with our long time partners @celebrationsofmarin and @loveinthemix and the rest is magic! We then offered the opportunity to others through our pop up format with 3-5 slots available for additional micro celebrations including a ceremony, champagne toast and portrait session all packaged into a 90 minute window. During Shelter in Place I started gardening and harvesting florals from my garden in our rental home.
