Korean ribs on the cue....

Well after receiving back the judges results it appears that we came in 16th out of 36 in ribs and 4th out of 36th in wings... Thank you to all who attended in person and in spirit,

Well we didn't win with the judges today, but we did in the peoples choice categories 2nd place Chicken and 3rd place Ribs out of 44 teams. We cooked 26 racks of ribs. 20 lbs of chicken wings and 8 gallons of macaroni salad. We started serving at noon and we had nothing left by 2pm. The weather was perfect. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us. A special thanks to Bailey & Nina who worked there butts off on the front line!

Today we had the honor of providing a BBQ lunch spread for the 5th anniversary party for Refuge and Hope. We have been supporting this organization from the very beginning. We have the opportunity to see first hand the impact of our donations in the lives of widows & orphans. With our physical limitations we may never be able to travel to India or the Phillipines ourselves, but we will continue to support those who can.

Here's a little update for all those who have been asking: The tickets for the Stumptown Brewery Beer Revival will go on sale Sunday, June 2nd at 1pm (online and at the brewery) The Beer Revival will be on Saturday, August 17th.
