People have been asking when Oxnard Healing Rooms will resume our normal weekly schedule. We pray and continue to ask and seek. As we are continually pondering as to when we should reopen Oxnard Healing Rooms, following the closure due to a cover 19, I was led to Mat 4:4 where Jesus was being tempted by the devil and answered It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ As I meditated on it and p...rayed, I was still not sure when or if we should resume our normal schedule. I was told, by others, that we are washed in the Blood of Jesus and needed to walk in faith. Although true it did not hit my spirit right, but wondering if it was a word for me, I prayed and was led to James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. I asked and was led to Acts 28:3-5. Paul was on Malta and had gathered sticks for the fire, as he was putting them in the fire a viper, driven out by the heat fastened on his hand. To the astonishment of the natives, he did not die and suffered no injury. There is a message here. Had Paul known there was a viper in the fire I seriously doubt he would have put his hand there. He did it unknowingly and did not purposefully tempt the snake. This says to keep our hand out of the fire, covid 19, and do no tempt it. If we unknowingly come in contact with it, we should know that it, the virus, is dead, but to knowingly tempt it is not using Godly wisdom. Still I kept asking and praying for the word as to when Oxnard Healing Rooms should resume our schedule. Again I was brought to Paul, but this time to Acts 16:6-8 Paul was forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach in Asia and in verse 7 they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. I do not feel led by the Holy Spirit to open, in fact I have a strong feeling in my spirit that we must not open at this time. Still, I continue to ask and seek and as you know, if you ask it will be given and if you seek you will find. This time the answer came from Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, a time and a purpose under heaven. We live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God and walking in the wisdom He so freely gives, not purposefully tempting the viper, paying attention to the Holy Spirit, and continuing to seek and ask. There is a time and a purpose and I know the time is not now and the purpose is to lead and protect, with love(1 Corinthians13:4-13), the sons and daughters of the King who are on our team and those who come for prayer.
