This is an advisory message from Alameda County. The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning (RFW) for the East Bay hills and interior valleys. T...he RFW is valid 11:00 AM Sunday thru 5:00 AM Tuesday. Additionally, PG&E has issued a Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS)warning due to the forecast gusty winds and dry conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk, and potential equipment damages. PG&E announced that widespread portions of Alameda County will be impacted by these power shutoffs, projected to begin Sunday around 8:00 PM. The weather event is anticipated to last into Monday morning, and PG&E hopes to complete the process of power restoration by 10:00 PM Monday. To determine if your address falls within the projected power shutoff area go to https://pgealerts.alerts.pge.com/updates/ for more information. Alameda County residents in the affected areas who have access and functional needs should consider relocating to the homes of friends, family, or to hotels before high winds are forecasted to begin at 8:00 PM Sunday.
