In a High School group inbox here on Facebook, one of our friends posted several photos of the American flag saying we should honor it, This was my response: Good morning, I believe we all honor the flag in our own way but during this season the flag means something different to me. Unfortunately I reminds me that this nation ( it’s institutions) that should be honoring and upholding the constitutional rights of All Americans, have some with power and authority, who still d...on’t and believe Making America Great again means minus (-) Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Afro Americans and the like! This country is double minded and in need of reformation when it supports hate of any kind, oppression of any kind and inequality towards any people or person. Why does it take murder, mayhem and it being an election season for people in all levels of Government to say, the problem starts with us! Why? When since the founding of this country people have been, murdered, oppressed, maimed, raped, hung, dragged behind cars, whipped beyond recognition and falsely imprisoned, for Land, Government and just because those who wanted control could and no one cared. With all this being said, I honor the flag because of what this nation can and should be, what I believe it one day will be, because change is coming by unity or by fire! God allowed this nation to be born because it was supposed to be founded on his principles but somewhere, greed, perversion and chaos got in the way and turned the course of the Land of the Free and home of the brave! Well, let’s turn it back by Being the change we want to see. I love all people, even my enemies (those that hate me) and that’s because that is Gods love! Let’s pour Gods love out everywhere we go and shine the light in this darkness. Stop killing people as game or animals to be hunted ( of all ethnicities/ Races/ Genders, Creeds or Religious beliefs) and bring light and life through the Love if Jesus to this lost and dying nation. I believe America will be great again because we All make it great again, by coming together in unity and oneness. This Country does not belong only to a select few, it’s the only one I’ve known, I was born here, this is my home also, so it belongs to me as well, and I am a catalyst for Change.
