In 2000, David co-founded Diamondhead Ventures, an early stage $140M fund which invested in Cavium (IPO, acquisition by Marvell), Danger Inc. (acquired by Microsoft), Entercept Security Technologies (acquired by McAfee), PassMark (acquired by RSA Security) and UPEK (acquired by Apple/AuthenTec). David...’s prior investments include: Harmonic, Inc. (IPO), TriQuint Semiconductor (IPO), NexGen (IPO), Viewlogic Systems (IPO) and Harbridge Merchant Services (acquired by First Data Corporation). David was a Managing Director at ONSET Ventures ($1B in assets under management) as well as a senior venture capital investment officer at the Harvard Management Company, which manages Harvard University’s endowment ($8B in assets under management). Prior to his venture capital career, he worked for IBM selling large enterprise IT systems and Hughes Aircraft as an electrical engineer.
