One story on the naming of Searchlight GF Colton said If there is any gold in this rock, it would take a searchlight to find it. Later when gold was found the mine and later the town was named Searchlight. Another explanation was Colton looking for a name picked it off the label of a box of matches. We like the first story better

This is Fun to watch. You will be able to see The Grand Canyon and next is Kingman Depot where you can see the Train order signal in the air which would indicate to the train crew if they had orders to pick up. Then comes the Red Rock Bridge which is crossing the Colorado River, the Mojave desert and on to the final destination.
