It's getting close to that time when we honor each and every veteran at Lancaster Cemetery with a wreath for Wreaths Across America. We hope you will be able to support our veterans this year. We will have more information regarding the ceremony as Saturday, December 19, 2020 draws closer. Below is a poster and also the wreath order form -please share! Be sure to use our Location code: CALCDL and the Group code: CA0082P so we will get credit for the wreaths at Lancaster Cemetery. Thank you all for your continued support of this important event to honor and remember our heroes - our veterans!

Class Photo found in the cemetery. It likely blew off of a grave. We didn't want the photo to become damaged by the water. If you are the owner and would like it returned, please contact our office during business hours. Twentieth St. Elementary School Los Angeles, California 1983-1984... Mrs. Rogers Grade 2 See more

We were here this morning to remember and honor the men and women who have served this country in all branches of the military, here at home and in foreign land...s, far away from their families and friends. The flags that have been placed at each veteran’s grave represent our commitment as united Americans to remember the fallen. The flags symbolize our honor to those who have served this great nation. To our children, we want them to understand the freedoms we enjoy today and teach them that these freedoms have not come free, but have come with a great cost. Thank you to all for helping honor our veterans today. See more

Dear Members of the Community, On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Staff of the Antelope Valley Cemetery District, we want to welcome you to our virtual Memorial Day Remembrance. We are so glad that you could be a part of this even though all of us wish that we could be together in body, not just in spirit. We hope that you find this video inspirational and moving. Thank you to the Friends of the Lancaster Cemetery for the making of this video. Thank you to Aerotech New...s for including Lancaster Cemetery in their Memorial Day Virtual Video. Also, many thanks to Congressman Mike Garcia for taking the time to make a special introduction for our virtual Memorial Day Ceremony and for the use of his speech from last year. Be safe and well, and please join us in remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Dave Owens, Chairman of the Board Antelope Valley Cemetery District
