In a continuing effort to help our rabbis and congregations during these trying times, we've teamed up with the RA, USCJ, and JTS in a joint initiative to offer high-quality adult education opportunities to all those interested in participating. #ScholarStream is a four-part series, which will give communities the opportunity to learn from some of the world’s leading scholars and engage deeply with our texts and traditions. Important insight from Ziegler alum, Rabbi Daniel Cotzin Burg!
The act of performing mitzvot has no bounds, and in the case no borders either. The Common Wealth Jewish Council (CJC), which today is comprised of Jewish communities from 37 countries, aims to support Jewish communities throughout the commonwealth to enhance their Jewish life. This past March, the CJC, in conjunction with the World Jewish Relief Organization, sponsored a summit in Uganda to support the country's Jewish communities, including the Abayudaya, whose chief rabbi, Gershom Sizomu, was educated at Ziegler.
