This Thanksgiving - THANK a referee!!! I mean who else can you just randomly yell at with inaccurate accounts of something you know nothing about? Who else sho...ws up at your kids 8AM game when it’s 28 degrees? What other stranger can you yell you suck to without getting sucker punched? Who else listens to your advice knowing you have zero experience? So while you take a seat an offer an opinion (usually in the shade or under A blanket) a referee takes center stage and offers an unbiased decision (usually the correct one too) So today, give thanks because if you don’t change your ways soon you’ll be given the whistle, and you thought we were bad....

The officials are there to filter out bad behavior, and leave a good game in their wake. If we leave the field and no one remembers us, then we did a good job.
