Incredible Original Art by Pentagon Artist, David Fairrington. Artwork valued at over $850! * David Fairrington is a master artist who has been referred to as a Modern Degas, served as a combat artist, chosen as an official portrait artist for the Pentagon and other government agencies, produced many graphics for the movie industry, and instructs professionally and privately. His work is well appreciated and treasured. We are deeply grateful for his generous donation.

Hello Dear VisionQuest Members, It is that time of the year again where the art gallery rotates art. The gallery will be open this weekend, Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm. We are so excited to see you again and your new art!

JULY FEATURED ARTIST Morgan McCloskey is about to begin her sophomore year at YHS. Having been exposed to the art world from a very young age, she discovered a passion for creativity just like her mom (Aubrey Sanchez). Her favorite style and medium is anime and digital art, which she has studied on her own. Morgan continued her passion for art through her advanced art classes in school, along with learning the fundamentals and the techniques of traditional mediums and styles.... Morgan is a member of Redlands Art Association, Yucaipa VisionQuest & San Bernardino Art Association. She has been exhibiting her work in galleries since age 11, along with festivals and juried shows since age 12. She volunteers as a teacher's assistant for VisionQuest’s Young Artists Academy, where she is admired and is definitely a positive role model for our community’s youthful artists. This coming year she will be taking AP Art at YHS, working toward her ultimate goal of attending Laguna College of Art & Design and a career in video game design. We welcome our new Vice President, Kit Satre!! Kit Satre is a self-taught artist, photographs nature, wildlife and landscapes. Kit holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She works with San Bernardino County special education students, provides Home Health Occupational Therapy services and is a Realtor with The Real Estate Group in Redlands. ... She is a member of the Yucaipa Public Arts Committee, as well as serves on VisionQuest’s Board. She collaborates with Yucaipa and San Bernardino County Schools. Kit heads the annual Art Ability exhibiting artwork by individuals with disabilities.

Mike Staudt was voted in as VisionQuest’s President during this month’s Board Meeting. Mike was VisionQuest’s President in 2016-2017, and has volunteered on VisionQuest’s Board for years. As a fine arts professional with over 40 years of experience in studio,... installation, and theatrical artistic environments, Mike enjoys working with other artists and is eager to share concepts and artistic vision with the Yucaipa community, of which he has been a member his entire life. With all the new restrictions, VisionQuest Art Classes were put on hold, and are currently at the instructor’s and student’s level of comfort. Congrats Bethanne!! Bethanne Keirnan was unanimously voted in to the VisionQuest Board during last month’s Board Meeting. She is a treasured VQ member and displays her artwork at the Uptown Art Gallery, as well as the YPAC. ... She comes from a background in Human Resources and Administration. She has a flare for decorating and enjoys the Arts. Bethanne was a Stylist, is a collector, and has also been featured in a few magazines. Her personality is full of energy, positivity, and kindness. We look forward to all the additions she can bring to our VisionQuest Board.
