Some additional resources and details provided by CRCD - Coarsegold Resource Conservation District: "Our hearts go out to our communities facing the Creek Fire. We are all evacuees ourselves but promise to work with our neighbors to put the pieces back together. We are looking into what resources we might be able to tap into to help property owners and residents of Eastern Madera County recover once we are all allowed home. For daily updates on the fire, USFS -Sierra Nationa...l Forest has daily video briefings at 7pm via their Facebook page. You can also watch previous briefings through their FB page. Jeff Aiello has great briefings on his Facebook page as well including CalTopo.com and FlightTracker24 hints and tricks so you can follow progress at any time. Law enforcement has a huge presence in our area. They are working hard to keep our properties safe with hard road closures at all incoming roads. The Red Cross has evacuation centers at Mariposa Fair Grounds and Clovis North High School. They can help with hotel vouchers, meals, small and large animals, and incidentals. Be safe folks. Check on your friends to make sure they are safe. We are strong and resilient, especially when we work together!!" See more
