Due to an unforeseen issue, Yreka Transfer Recycling at 231 Ranch Lane in Yreka will be closed to the public today, Saturday the 9th of January. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Yreka Transfer will be closed on New Year's day so our employees may enjoy the holiday with their families. Friday trash route in Copco Lake/Bogus/Willow Creek area will be serviced Wednesday December 30th. All other Friday trash routes will be serviced Thursday December 31st. Curbside recycling route will be serviced on Saturday January 2nd. Route times may vary, so please set out the night before. Our office will close at 1PM December 31st. Yreka Transfer Recycling will close at 3PM December 31st and reopen Saturday January 2nd at 10:30. Thank you and may the New Year bring blessings to you and yours!

Starting January 1, 2021 the State of California is requiring Treated Wood waste (TWW) to be managed as hazardous waste. Yreka Transfer is no longer able to haul TWW. Please see attached for more information. ://https://dtsc.ca.gov/toxics-in-products/treated-wood-waste/

Yreka Transfer trash service will not run on Christmas day so our employees may enjoy the holiday with their families. Friday Copco Lake/Bogus Creek accounts will be serviced Wednesday December 23rd. All other Friday garbage accounts will be serviced on Thursday December 24th. Friday curbside recycling and cardboard customers will be serviced on Saturday December 26th. All other customers will be serviced regular days this week. Our garbage office will close at 1PM Christmas eve and be closed until Monday December 28th. Recycling center will be closed Thursday December 24th and Friday December 25th. Garbage route times may vary so please set out trash the night before. Thank you and have a blessed holiday.
