Yreka Art Hops

I have been tossing the idea around and around and have decided to plan as if we will be in the position to gather as communities again in 2021. To that end here are the tentative dates and themes of 2021's Yreka Art Hops: (themes are forwarded from this years cancelled events) May 28-30. Cultural Fusion... June 25-27. Chalk-a-Lot July 23-24 Nonsense: A Necessity August 28-30 Au Naturale September 24-26 Your Body; My Canvas October 22-24 Shadows & Illumination Please mark the dates on your calendars and plan to witness amazing art, rub elbows with famous artists and replenish our souls with creativity! Also, please note there is only ONE Yreka Art Hops and is branded with the Yreka Art Hops logo you see in the profile photo. Please support this series of events by supporting the businesses who sponsor the YREKA ART HOPS. Obviously, health and safety is top priority so if it continues to be unsafe by the events dates, they will be postponed/cancelled as need arises.

Tomorrow Nov. 5 @ 6:30pm Yreka Art Hops will be on the Yreka City Council agenda. If you support the Yreka Art Hops (including the bodypainting theme), benefit in ANY way from the events or just love the diversity the events bring, PLEASE be present at this meeting. Although physical presence is highly limited due to covid-precautions, I believe you can call in and reserve a seat (?). Better yet, join the ZOOM meeting and you will still be able to participate. ... Either way, please support the Yreka Art Hops by participating. Hello all! In preparation for the 2021 Yreka Art Hops, I am looking for a supplier (free if possible) of coconut husks. Please let me know if you or someone you know has some to spare. Will need a good amount. Thank you in advance!
