Youth To The Core

April is Earth Month. Students are getting involved each week with a different project. 5th grade and 4th grade preparing the flower gardens. Great job kids.

We have now introduced our Morning Mind and Body Connectionto our 3-5 grade students at the McGill School of Success. Getting their brains warmed up with movement and breathing brings mindfulness to these students before they engage their academic day that will have positive benefits in the classroom. Great job kiddos!!!!

Youth to the Core is now introducing Yoga to all students at the McGill School of Success before they start their day in the classroom. This group of Kindergarten students show how exciting it is to move before their school day begins on their first day of Mind and Body Connection. Great work and. Darrien, Mr. Jorge and Ms. Cristina and thank you McGill teachers for the support to introduce this component. Setting examples and building healthy lives.

Standardized PE is mandatory and so is having fun while participating. These First grade students are learning while moving....great work kiddos!!!!

Second Grade students actively learning about their bodies in Exercise Science. The only PE program in the country that actually educates you physically. Great work McGill kiddos!!
