The White Stag Youth and Adults are amazing! The Big Sur 1/2 Marathon was officially cancelled Saturday night due to the poor air quality. This was after the gr...oup set up and ran the food, water, and metals at 3K & 5K kids race and put in a very long day of setting up 9000 food boxes for the Sunday runners. Everyone was disappointed, but quickly showed the "Go Getter" attitude and went to work Sunday morning helping to tear down everything that had been set up in the Fisherman's Warf area and unboxing and sorting all those boxes of food. The kind-hearted Marathon Officals decided to donate the food to the Firefighters in Paradise and also to White Stag for camp this summer. Great job!
