WE DON'T NEED A *MIRACLE* EXACTLY... ...just a handful of dedicated donors to make our dream come true! We have been on the search for a bigger space for our YAC center. We even received an amazing grant for our first year's rent at a location we thought was going to be ours. When that place fell through, our Executive Director Heather noticed that a space nearby was still vacant. She had inquired about the place about 3 years ago, when YAC was still in its first days of exi...stence. It is, simply put, our DREAM CENTER. Spacious. We can already see the perfectly spaced distance learning pods for our student youth! Great flooring. Showers already installed. Separate office area. Gated private parking lot for security. Back then, we had no idea what YAC would become. So this time, Heather took a chance and called to inquire about the dream space--and it is available!! Only catch--it is almost $2000 a month higher rent and requires a 5 year lease. THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN!! As we always say, OUR DONORS ROCK! And we know we can harness the power of our supporter community to secure donations to cover the difference in rent. What we need is COMMITTED DONORS-- individuals, groups or corporate partners-- to pledge a tax-deductible fixed monthly donation amount. What does that look like? Ten local businesses at $170 a month? 68 individual donors at $25 a month? 17 groups of friends, sewing circles, dance troupe parents or bowling leagues banding together at $100 a month? Or ANY combination thereof? LET'S GET CREATIVE, FOLKS! We are barely able to contain our excitement at the prospect of all the amazing work we could do for our youth in this Dream Center!!
