New featured review on www.yelp.com I am NOT going to get into Great Detail here with a Review, as most people reading these simply want an easy to read and to the point review, like I do when checking out a business on Yelp. I am a 100% new Parent to Sonoma Smiles. I left my old Dentist due to it closing down because of the Pandemic. After about a year with NO Dental Contact: I was in need for a Cleaning & Exam. Sonoma Smiles took me in with open arms. Here's my Review as follows: Front Office Staff - OUTSTANDING. Teeth Cleaning Staff - OUTSTANDING. Last but not least: Doctor Sutton and his Assistant - FANTASTIC .... A FIVE STAR Dental Office hands downs. https://bit.ly/2k5M341

Don't use your #teeth as tools! People use their teeth to tear open a bag of potato chips, uncap a bottle of nail polish or rip a price tag off a piece of clothing. This can be #hard on your teeth, traumatizing them or causing the edge of a #weakened tooth to #chip off or even #fracture. #tiptuesday #dentalhealth

Myth: A hard-bristle brush will clean your teeth better than a soft one Fact: A soft-bristle brush is recommended for cleaning your teeth! Make sure to brush twice a day and replace your toothbrush every three to four months, or as soon as the bristles are frayed. #truththursday #teethhealth #mythbuster

Myth: If your gums bleed when you floss or brush, it's best to leave them alone. Truth: Your gums bleed because of inflammation. Over time, bacteria and plaque get stuck between your teeth and build-up, causing the gums to become inflamed. #truththursday #dentalhealth

Accidents can happen to anyone! In case of an emergency, here are a couple of things you can do! For a knocked-out tooth, keep it moist at all times while you're on your way to the dentist. For a cracked tooth, rinse your mouth with warm water to clean out the area and apply a cold compress to help keep the swelling down. Not sure if you have a dental emergency or not? Give us a call to find the proper care! #wellnesswednesday #dentalcare

#TipTuesday: There's never been a better time to stop using tobacco than right now. Tobacco products stain the teeth and significantly increase the risk of gum disease and oral cancer.
