On Thursday, May 14, 2020, the 452nd Air Mobility Wing (Air Force Reserve Command) and host unit at March Field in Moreno Valley, will participate in the #AirFo...rceSalutes portion of #AmericaStrong, honoring local healthcare workers, essential employees, and other first responders who are at the front line of the battle against COVID-19 with two flyovers. These flyovers incur no additional cost to the taxpayer. Residents in the areas should be able to see the KC-135 Stratotanker (a refueling aircraft) and the C-17 Globemaster III (a cargo aircraft) from the safety of their home-quarantine or via pre-coordinated media broadcasting. We encourage everyone to maintain social distancing guidelines during these flyovers and ask residents to refrain from traveling to hospitals and gathering in large groups to view the flyovers. The KC-135 will make the initial flyover of each location in the following order, followed 10 minutes later by the C-17 beginning at approximately 1:00 p.m. before returning to March Field at approximately 2:30 p.m.: 1.
