Hello all. There is news about the school that everyone should know. After 49 years the Academy of Martial Arts/Young Park Taekwondo will be losing its doors. Over the past several years, we have fought to continue the tradition we all learned and cherish. However after a hard review continuing at our current location has become untenable. It isn't all bad news! Great Grand Master Park will be teaching the 6:30 class, for the next Wednesday's and Friday's, until January 24th.... We will be having our final Rank Test at noon on the 25th. Our final class/party will be on the 29th. Feel free to come by for a class and see Great Grand Master Park, Grand Master John, and/or for a nostalgic refresher class. Thank you for all your love and support over the years. Hello all. As of March 1st, this page will be going dormant. Over the past couple of years, many things have changed. Grand Master selling the studio and going into semi-retirement. John Cantrell buying and moving the school forward. And our name change to Academy of Martial Arts; to name a few. We feel it best to build a new future, to create a new page called Academy of Martial Arts Pasadena. We invite you to like this new page and help us as we continue to grow and nurture the future of our art!

We are excited to announce your first annual food drive benefitting Door of Hope. Door of Hope is currently working with 26 family over 3 locations in Pasadena. In this time of giving we want to reaffirm that by lifting others we all rise. Please donate canned goods, pasta, cereal, etc. We are also accepting clothes and toys for the Door of Hope donation.
